Physiotherapy for Endometriosis

Your support

Chronic pain in the pelvic and abdominal area, as can occur with endometriosis, often affects the whole body. Physiotherapy helps you regulate tension, relieve pain and regain trust in your body.

An important part of the treatment is regulating your nervous system. Due to the constant symptom burden, the body easily gets into a state of heightened alert – with targeted exercises and manual techniques, we help you find your way back to calm and balance.

Pelvic floor & Endometriosis

Not everyone with endometriosis has pelvic floor problems – but some symptoms (e.g. pelvic pain, bladder or bowel issues) may be related to the pelvic floor. A Pelvic Floor Check helps us find out.

Based on this, we can decide whether targeted pelvic floor therapy would be helpful for you – or whether other approaches are more suitable.

Dein Pelvic Floor Check

Why physiotherapy for endometriosis can be helpful:

The severity of endometriosis often does not directly correlate with the intensity of pain you experience.

Stress, muscle tension, nerve sensitivity and movement patterns influence how strongly you perceive pain.

Physiotherapy addresses exactly this: It connects body, nervous system and daily life. Together we release tension, promote mobility and develop strategies for dealing with pain in everyday life.

Therapy with health insurance prescription

If you bring a prescription from your statutory health insurance, we work according to the official guidelines and regulations of your insurance provider.

Health insurers provide basic care: typically 20 minutes of treatment time per prescribed session.

To ensure enough space for assessment, treatment and your questions, we plan double sessions whenever possible.

This means: 2 units of physiotherapy per appointment with approx. 30 minutes of treatment time. Please note that a double session requires 2 units on your prescription.

Your prescription is generally valid for 28 days from the date of issue – your first treatment must take place within this period.

Since we can only treat with correctly issued prescriptions and the regulations are complex, we arrange appointments with insurance prescriptions exclusively by phone or email.

We deepen what works for you and release tension with targeted, gentle techniques in the abdominal, pelvic, back and scar tissue areas.
