Pelvic Floor Therapy

Your path to lasting pelvic floor health

The most comprehensive care for your pelvic floor ideally starts with an individual check-up. This gives you a detailed assessment of strength, tension, coordination and sensitivity – so we can work together from a place of real understanding.

We then create a tailored training plan, auf dessen Basis wir deine weitere Therapie gestalten können.

To the Pelvic Floor Check!

If the Pelvic Floor Check shows a need for treatment or you already have a medical diagnosis, we work together on improving your pelvic floor function.

With individual exercises and manual therapy, we improve the function of your pelvic floor and sustainably support your core.

Therapy with health insurance prescription

If you bring a prescription from your statutory health insurance, we work according to the official guidelines and regulations of your insurance provider.

Health insurers provide basic care: typically 20 minutes of treatment time per prescribed session, covering the most essential aspects of therapy.

To ensure enough space for assessment, treatment and your questions, we plan double sessions whenever possible: this means 2 units of physiotherapy per appointment with approximately 30 minutes of treatment time.

This means: 2 units of physiotherapy per appointment with a total of approx. 30 minutes of treatment time. Please note that a double session requires 2 units on your prescription.

Your prescription is generally valid for 28 days from the date of issue – your first treatment must take place within this period.

Since we can only treat with correctly issued prescriptions and the regulations are complex, we arrange appointments with insurance prescriptions exclusively by phone or email.

Your three therapy sessions:

First session

Intake, thorough assessment, findings and knowledge transfer about the anatomy and function of your pelvic floor.

Second session

(If desired) Specialist assessment with vaginal/anorectal palpation, practical everyday tips around toilet habits, lifting and carrying, posture, and initial exercises.

Third session

Development of your personal exercise programme, manual mobilisation techniques if needed, discussion of aids and time for all remaining questions.

Your combination:

All privately bookable services, such as the Pelvic Floor Check-up, can be flexibly combined with an insurance prescription – so you can get the most out of your therapy.

For many patients, this check is a helpful starting point to better understand their own pelvic floor function and to build exercises on the prescription pathway upon a thorough initial assessment.
